Plain-language information about how Streamline Events operates and the choices available to you.
Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms & Conditions form a binding agreement between you and Streamline Publishing, Inc. By accessing or using Streamline Events, creating an account, registering for an event, purchasing access, or participating in the community, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Cookie Policy, and any additional terms shown with a specific offer.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement. The service is not intended for children under 13.
Accounts and security
Provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. You are responsible for your credentials and activity under your account. Do not share, sell, transfer, or use another person’s account or event access without permission.
Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. We may require password changes, suspend sessions, or take other reasonable steps to protect the service and its users.
Events, schedules, and access
Event dates, times, instructors, agendas, locations, room capacity, and programming may change for operational, safety, weather, availability, or production reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes. Times displayed to attendees may be converted to the viewer’s device time zone.
Tickets, badges, stream keys, links, replays, and room access are personal unless an offer states otherwise. Recording, rebroadcasting, scraping, or distributing event content without written permission is prohibited.
Purchases, payment plans, cancellations, and refunds
Prices, taxes, payment schedules, renewal terms, replay periods, shipping, cancellation deadlines, transfer options, administration or processing fees, and refund rules are shown with the applicable product or event and become part of these Terms. For event purchases, the event-specific policy displayed immediately before checkout is saved with the order. That accepted version controls the purchase even if a later version is published. When offer-specific terms conflict with a general statement here, the offer-specific terms control.
Streamline presently uses several event-policy families. Exact deadlines and fees are shown in the offer because dates can vary by event:
- Virtual events and workshops: the standard policy provides a full refund when cancellation is requested before the event begins. When the offer expressly advertises a day-one satisfaction guarantee, the request must be received by the deadline shown for that guarantee.
- In-person conventions, including PACE-style events: the standard schedule is a full refund less the disclosed fee when requested at least 120 days before the event; a 50% refund less that fee when requested from 119 through 90 days before the event; and no standard refund fewer than 90 days before the event. A transfer may be reviewed when the event offer permits it.
- Domestic retreats: the offer states its early and partial-refund deadlines. Eligible refunds are reduced by the disclosed administration fee, which is ordinarily $50 under the current standard policy.
- International painting trips: the offer states a refund cutoff. Eligible requests received by that cutoff ordinarily receive a full refund less the disclosed administration fee, which is ordinarily $550 under the current standard policy; after the cutoff, there is no standard refund.
- Business and radio events: the offer states a refund cutoff. Eligible requests received by that cutoff ordinarily receive a full refund less the disclosed administration fee, which is ordinarily $250 under the current standard policy; after the cutoff, there is no standard refund.
By providing a payment method, you authorize the stated charges, including recurring or installment charges when clearly disclosed. The same accepted event policy applies to amounts collected through a payment plan. When Streamline approves a cancellation, unpaid future installments will be stopped; any refund is limited to the amount actually paid and remains subject to the accepted policy’s percentage and disclosed fee. A failed or missed installment does not itself cancel the purchase or create a refund right.
Refunds, transfers, hardship exceptions, and payment-plan cancellations require review and approval by authorized Streamline staff before money or access changes. A transfer or exception is not guaranteed merely because review is available. Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived. Payment processing may be provided by Shopify, Stripe, or another approved provider. Contact support@streamlinepublishing.com promptly if you believe a charge is incorrect or need the accepted policy attached to your order.
Text messaging terms
Streamline Publishing offers two separate, optional text-message choices. Service texts cover account, registration, schedule, access, replay, and customer-care updates. Promotional texts cover classes, educational content, upcoming events, products, and special offers. You may select either, both, or neither; promotional consent is not bundled with service-message consent.
For each selected program, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to unsubscribe from supported text-message programs or HELP for help. You may also change eligible choices in the Privacy Center or contact support@streamlinepublishing.com. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for additional information.
Digital content and license
Purchased or granted videos, replays, downloads, articles, and other digital materials are licensed for your personal, non-commercial use; they are not sold to you unless expressly stated. Access may depend on the product, ticket, subscription, geographic availability, rights window, or provider requirements.
You may not copy, record, reproduce, publicly perform, redistribute, sell, sublicense, defeat access controls, or create derivative commercial products from protected content without written permission.
Community standards and user content
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You give Streamline a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, reproduce, format, and distribute that content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the service, subject to your privacy settings and applicable law.
Do not post or send content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, malicious, spam, or intended to disrupt the service. Do not impersonate others, scrape member information, evade moderation, or solicit users commercially without permission.
We may remove content, limit features, preserve evidence, or suspend accounts when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect users, or comply with law. Reporting tools must be used honestly.
Streamline intellectual property
The platform, event recordings, curriculum, editorial content, designs, trademarks, logos, software, and other materials supplied by Streamline or its licensors are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
If you believe content infringes your rights, contact support with enough detail for us to evaluate the request.
Third-party services and links
The service may connect to commerce, payments, video, live-room, support, calendar, social, or other third-party services. Their own terms and privacy practices govern their systems. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control, though we work to select providers appropriate for the platform.
Availability, disclaimers, and liability
We work to provide a reliable, accessible service, but internet, device, provider, maintenance, and live-production issues can cause interruptions. The service and content are provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Art, business, marketing, and educational content is informational and does not promise a particular creative, financial, or professional result. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Streamline and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time, subject to purchase and subscription obligations. We may restrict or terminate access for material violations, fraud, abuse, security threats, nonpayment, infringement, or legal requirements. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, licenses already granted, ownership, disclaimers, and limitations—will survive.
Changes, disputes, and contact
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. The effective date identifies the latest version. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms when permitted by law.
Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. These Terms are governed by applicable law, and mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live remain unaffected.
